F5J Paolo Rota and Alessandro Aramini win CONTEST Eurotour FJ
September 17/18 the last competition of CONTEST Eurotour F5J was held at Vigarano Mainarda, Italy. 60 pilots met to fight for the last CONTEST wing cup of the season and the overall ranking.
Before this last Competition, Paolo Rota was leading the ranking, followed by Radek Malcik from Czecj Republic, who also still had chances to win.
After 7 preliminary rounds, Tomasz Frak (Poland) was the best pilot, closely followed by junior Alessandro Aramini (Italy) and Radek Malcik. 12 pilots qualified for fly off.
Radek Malcik led the field after the first 2 rounds but lost his chances with a zero score in Round 3. So in the end the junior pilots Alesandro Aramini and Lukas Dietrich (Germany) triumphed, joined on the podium by Jiri Duchan (Czech Republic)
