Preliminary F5F-Results after 1 of 3 contests 2026
The first podium

The high-flyer

The first competition almost didn’t start. Pert Janku was late and didn’t show up at the field. So there were only three pilots present. According to the regulations, at least four pilots are required to start a competition. Christian Ulbrich stepped in at the last minute. He would be flying his new Stormer from Femo. The model isn’t specifically designed for F5F, but rather as an all-around model. It has a wingspan of 2.4 meters and weighs 2.2 kg. Despite this handicap, the model and its pilot proved their competitiveness. In rounds 4 and 5, Chris flew 40 laps and glided through them without exceeding the energy limit.
Congratulations!

Conclusion
It was another wonderful, perfectly organized competition that makes you want more. The food was delicious. It would be great if more pilots participated so that the event wouldn’t always be on the verge of cancellation.
