F5J Coppa Italia

F5J Coppa Italia

On 09 and 10.04.2022 ,60 pilots from 6 countries met at Tetti Neirotti near Torino to open the CONTEST Eurotour F5J season. Unfortunately, on Saturday due to the strong wind no competition was possible. On Sunday, however the pilots were rewarded with excellent flying conditions

Massimo Verardi and his team managed to hold 5 preliminary rounds. Italian junior Alessandro Aramini emerged as the winner here with the maximum score of 4,000 points and qualified for the fly off together with 10 other pilots. After 2 exciting rounds, Paolo Rota (Italy) won ahead of Fred Fillol (France) and Radek Malcik (Czech Republic). The winner managed the flight time of 15 minutes with a starting altitude of only 20 meters in both rounds!

Noteworthy and gratifying is the performance of the 7 participating juniors, in addition to Alessandro Aramini, who finished 4th, the Germans Lukas Dietrich (8th) and Anna Schütz (9th) also qualified for the Fly Off.
